2 hours drive out of Loja Ecuador into the Andes, and then a 1 hour trek into the jungle we came across this beautiful waterfall, it was all I expected it to be.
Unfortunately our visit was cut short by a torrential rain fall but the moment spent there was well worth in.
I joyfully trekked back out of the jungle soaked through to the skin, what a memory.

i dont know much about critiquing photos but i have ALOT of slow shutter water fall photos and personally i really like this photo. great timing with the shutter and its easy to tell that it was cloudy or poor lighting due to the heavy contrast, but considering the lighting i think this shot turned out very very nice . and this looks like a falls i would love to shoot . Excellent job

Thank you so much, I have just been looking at it again.
2 groups rejected it and I was wondering why, got any ideas, is it a bit too dark?

Well like I said im not a good person for critiques but I looks like this was just hand held ??? a tripod shot by timer would have made it clearer and more level . Could use a little more saturation and a little less contrast . But overall I still like this shot as I said before . Who cares if they didnt accept it some of those groups are so critical.

Thanks, I took a closer look and the upper left hand side was blurry, there may have been a couple of drops of water on the lens, I ended up replacing the image with this one, I'm happier with it.

Great exposure! All the good photos SHOULD come with a great backing story!
