I took a chance and went to Devil's Lake. There was no one there. So still and quiet, and oh so very cold......HO...HO...HO Merry Christmas!!
I just did a small adjustment in curves, the bluff in the background was blue as seen here and the white sparkles in the tree branches was actually the snow melting and the sun reflecting through the droplets of water suspended on the ends of the branches.
